Presenters

We are so excited to announce the return of Technovation on Tuesday August 1, 2023. This year we are collaborating with the folks from Ed Tech in the Bend and School City of Mishawaka for a regional conference that you won’t want to miss!  The conference will be at Mishawaka High School. Technovation will continue to be centered around innovative practices and the intentional placement of technology in the classroom. This is a full day conference running from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided and there will be opportunities to win prizes! The registration fee for Technovation is $20. You will also earn seven (7) PGPs for attending.

We have some amazing things in the works to make Technovation fun and engaging. Our Keynote speaker this year is Marcus Painter, Indiana. Marcus has been in public education for 20 years as a secondary English teacher, Media Specialist, Tech Integration Coach, Coordinator of Digital Learning, and district administrator. Marcus recently transitioned into the EdTech world with Instructure, makers of Canvas. Most recently, Marcus serves as the Customer Marketing and Advocacy Manager at Vasion, a tech company that provides solutions to increase efficiency within companies and school districts.

We are also excited to announce some outstanding Spotlight presenters. Nadine Gilkinson will be returning to Technovation this year! You may remember her from a few years back. She is an outstanding resource for helping ALL students and teachers excel with integrating technology into their curriculum. We are also excited to welcome Brenny Kummer to Technovation this year! She is another great resource with exciting things to share on Universal Design for Learning and Blended learning!

The strength of a conference is built on quality sessions. Which is why we need YOU! If you have a topic that you would like to present at the conference, please click here to fill out a Google Form for your session. We are looking for sessions that span K-12 initiatives in an effort to make this conference relevant to all.
